An early 20th century ruby type stone and diamond cluster ring consisting of a centrally mounted cushion shaped ruby held in a rub over setting and surrounded by 12 brilliant cut diamonds complete with tapered yellow shoulders to a plain polished shank - cushion cut ruby approx 7.1mm x 5.9mm x 2.7mm calculated weight 1.00ct - the twelve brilliant cut diamonds approx 2.2mm diameter with an estimated total diamond weight 0.48ct, clarity SI2 - not hallmarked but tested as 18ct and platinum - weight approx 2.1 grams - ring size M - generally good condition, some wear consistent with age
