A collection of silver; a Georgian snuff box, decorated with a wreath to top, hallmarked to lid and body, 1801. Egg cup, 1934 and a collection of pepper pots marked for Chester,Birmingham (2) and a decorative pair with blue liners for London. A spoon and salt, plus an ashtray
marked for 830 silver. A large glass bowl for salt or sugar, banded with silver to top (Georgian marks)
and base (Victorian marks). A silver rimmed fruitwood bowl. An unmarked coin-set bowl, a heavy
medallion-set bowl marked metal argente. Two salts with blue liners and a pair of large, heavily
decorated salt/pepper, all apparently unmarked. Weighable silver 12.5 troy oz. Condition; Snuff box by Thomas Phipps & Edward Robinson. Top opening only. Hinge and friction close OK. Scuff marks to base plus a very small knock and ding; a few small dings to lid. Egg cup, 1934
Birmingham, appears to be a variant of S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd. Peppers, the pair are OK, the larger pepper good, the other two have small dings with a loose lid to one. The spoon and ashtray are worn-OK whilst the salt is heavily dented. The glass salt has a U shaped crack from bottom to top on one side but seems secure- possibly why the banding is of different periods. All else OK with some tarnish spots to one of the salts with the blue liners.
